We help each organisation to identify the best training solution for their unique needs. We have a range of workshops and programmes to suit all organisations. Many of our workshops and programmes are CPD certified or accredited with relevant bodies.
We offer a range of workshops and programmes covering positive behaviour support, active support, specialist programmes for professionals and services supporting both adults and children, plus training for schools. We have two e-learning portals, Online PBS Training for organisations and people new to PBS, and Positive Support CPD, which is for professionals looking to gain CPD certificates to progress and maintain their professional knowlege and regulation.

POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT
All of our Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support Training courses are delivered by Redstone PBS, part of the Positive Support Group (PSG). As qualified PBS professionals, we have over 20 years of experience in developing and delivering high quality training. The courses below link through to our Redstone training site where you can read more detail about the target audience, and learning outcomes as well as base costs for each training.
Our first two courses outlined below are eligible for claims from the Learning and Development Support Scheme.

Introduction to Positive Behavour Support
One-Day Workshop
This is an introduction to Positive Behaviour Support for people with no prior training. It can be delivered online or face to face. This course is usually delivered to groups within an organisation. Organisations can claim £66 per person from the LDSS for this training workshop.
PBS Coaching in Practice
Four-Day Programme
This is a comprehensive programme for people looking to develop their PBS skills and knowledge beyond the basics. The programme includes opportunities for discussion and experiential work and includes a comprehensive toolkit. Organisations can claim £166 per person from the LDSS for this training.
Introduction to PBS for Schools
One-Day workshop
This introductory workshop ensures that all teaching staff have a clear framework for understanding the essential principles of Positive Behaviour Support and how it fits with other approaches.
Foundation in Functional Behaviour Assessment
Two-Day Programme
This is a foundation-level course in functional behaviour assessment. It provides delegates with a range of tools for assessment, as well as clear guidance around intervention planning. Individual feedback is provided to each delegate on their course project.
PBS Programme for Key Teaching Staff
Two-Day Programme
This is a foundation-level course in functional behaviour assessment. It provides delegates with a range of tools and a work-based project to complete. Individual feedback is provided to each delegate.
ACTIVE SUPPORT TRAINING
Active Support is a primary proactive approach within a Positive Behaviour Support multi-element framework. This training provided by Redstone provides organisations with a thorough understanding of Active Support using a system of coaching. This ensures support staff have the knowledge and skills to be able to build relationships, maximise participation & engagement and achieve person centered outcomes. We provide post training implementation support for organisations commissioning our train the trainer offer.

This is an introductory workshop for delegates to understand the essential elements of this approach support people to maximise participation and engagement. Ative Support is a proactice PBS strategy.
Active Support Coaching in Practice
Two and a Half Day Programme
This is an experiential programme where delegates gain knowledge and practice in coaching staff members to support people well. The course provides in-vivo coaching in service settings where possible. This course can also be delivered as a train the train course
ONLINE PBS TRAINING
Online PBS training is an on-demand training portal providing a number of free resources and interactive training. We have licence options for organisations for all our paid online PBS and Active Support training, this means organisations can pay for their staff to access our training courses. Online PBS Training is a great way for individual support staff to understand the key elements of Positive Behaviour Support.

Suicide Prevention with Autistic People

Two and Half-day Programme plus 12 group sessions of supervised practice
This training equips professionals and teams working with autistic individuals prone to suicide-related behaviours. This training aims to decrease future suicide occurrences through comprehensive, collaborative, and person-centred strategies and advocates a holistic prevention approach grounded in positive behaviour support principles. This training includes a mix of evidence-based information and practical application techniques.

Eight Interactive One-Hour Sessions Live or On-Demand
These online sessions are run across four-weeks for carers and professionals working with children in care. The aim of this course is to strengthen relationships and promote stable, supportive placements. Sessions explore neurodiversity, trauma-informed care, proactive and reactive support, and person-centred strategies. Designed to build skills, confidence, and emotional resilience, the course helps improve quality of life for both children and caregivers. Participants gain follow-up access to slides and recordings.

This is a practical workshop for direct care staff supporting people who have experienced challenging situations in their life. It provides knowldege and practical skills to ensure that teams are confident to listen and provide support without feeling the need to ‘fix’ the situation where a practical solution to issues raised isn’t possible.
